Hi Benjamin, I read your article and I agree with you about it is very important the analysis when we teach a subject in english, so it´s a strategy you can use to know students knowledge and this is in two parts : first to know their actual situation, since the begining and the second, what are the expectations from them to the class or subject you are teaching. So in this way you will learn more about them and will create a strategy to take them to create their own language combining learning and teaching content and language.
